Cabinet Material Choices for your new kitchen, bedroom or bespoke storage solution
The materials shown below are some of the board finishes available to be used to create the cabinets for your project. They can also be used, in the correct situations, to create doors and panels.
This is not an exhaustive collection of materials available to use, but certainly covers a lot of options most projects will require
MFC is melemine faced chipboard, which the majority of cabinets in the UK are made from
MFMDF is meleamine faced MDF (medium density fibreboard) for minimal break-out during cutting
Superpan is an amalgamation of the MFC andf MDF, with a melamine face, MDF surface below and a central chipbaord core for a perfect balance of quality and cost
Forescolor is a coloured throughout wood fibre board produced with organic dyes for interior use. no edging is required after cutting, just a clear-coat to protect it
Venered is a MDF substrate board veneerred with real wood. Cut edges are finished in a matching timber and the completed furniture can be finished just like real wood - you'd be hard pressed to tell it's not solid wood
Please filter the selections using the menus to the left to help discover the finishes available, or get in touch to help choose a matching or contrasting board for your door choice.
